This policy explains how Property Shop, built by GENTEK, handles the personal data of site visitors and of people who submit our registration forms, in accordance with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law 151 of 2020).

What we collect

When you submit any form on the site we collect: your name (optional), your mobile number, and the nature of your request (buy or rent or listing a unit, the unit type, budget range, number of units, registry number for brokers, company and project name for developers, and your email if you provide it).

We also collect basic technical data needed to run and protect the site: IP address, browser type, and the source of your visit.

Why we use it

We use your data to contact you about your request: telling you about suitable units, verifying listing details, or letting you know when the app launches. We do not sell your data and do not use it for other purposes without your consent.

Legal basis

The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent given when submitting a form. You may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

Retention

We keep form data for 24 months from the date of submission, after which it is deleted. You can request deletion earlier at any time.

Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties for marketing. Data is stored with the cloud hosting providers we contract to run the platform, under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, request its deletion, and withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in the footer and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site and protect it from spam. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) are activated only after you agree through the consent banner.
